Each month, a new opportunity is featured to help students discover high-quality programs they may not have found on their own. This section is designed to encourage students to take action, explore new interests, and apply early to meaningful experiences that can build their skills and strengthen their future goals.

AUGUST 2026 OPPORTUNITY

NASA SEES (STEM Enhancement in Earth Science) High School Summer Internship

Location: Hybrid (Virtual) & On-Site in Austin, Texas
Field: STEM | Earth Science | Aerospace | Data Science | Engineering
Eligibility: Current U.S. high school sophomores and juniors (10th & 11th grade), at least 16 years old by the start of the program, with a strong interest in STEM.
Deadline: February 22, 2026 (8:00 PM PT).

Description: Work alongside NASA scientists and researchers on real-world Earth and space science projects. Participants gain hands-on research experience, develop technical skills, and present their findings at the end of the program.
